The artist, Jackie Byrd, makes wonderful pallet art from her home in Athens, GA. Her shop is called ThatCraftyByrd--one word. I ordered the sign in a custom size and here it is at the entrance to the cottage...

The Magic of Paint!

Paint is such a magical thing! It transforms buildings like a blanket of snow transforms and beautifies a less-than-perfect landscape. In my last post I shared my ponderings over selecting paint for the exterior of The Sassy Seagull.

Well....wave the magic paintbrush and voila!

All of the paint colors are from Benjamin Moore. This is the palette I finally settled on...

The shutters are "Limelight" aka 2025-40.

The siding is "Amelia Island Blue" aka 2044-40.

And the exterior doors are "Pink Peach" aka 2009-40.
