We made it! We spent our first week in Doc Holiday! It was a nail-biter kind of few days trying to make the house ready. This is how one room looked about
8 hours before everyone showed up...
To say I was feeling stressed is an understatement. Decorating is not for sissies, y'all! It still needs lots of tweaking but 8 hours later Doc Holiday was
good--at least it was good enough for us to enjoy ourselves.
We played games...
We enjoyed the beach...
and we celebrated the 4th of July!
With lots of help, we've made a good beginning. Can't wait to show you how Doc Holiday is coming together...Please come back for more!
That looks like my house most days! Ha I am sure the family didn't mind everything not being dressed to the nines. You are making memories especially with the littles. Who by the way are just adorable. Looks like you guys had fun! That blue dresser is so pretty. I really like the different color drawers. Did you paint it? If yes you picked just the right colors ,in my opinion. Can't wait to see it all come together.
ReplyDeleteYes, I painted it. It was my mom's old mid-century modern dresser and it was the right price--free! At least until I bought the paint :)
